Women O’Reilly Campaign

For this campaign, we had to advertise to the opposite target audience. Since O’Reilly targets males, so I chose to target the female audience.

I set up a questionnaire to find out more about my new target audience. The results showed that a majority of women were interested in learning routine vehicle maintenance.

After reflection, I realized that a strong woman normally has a strong mother, grandmother, or another powerful woman that they learned from. The women who came before us, who persevered and thrived. I wanted to bring this element into this advertisement.

I elected to use vintage photographs showing strong women, representing those who came before us. I also added a “photo album” style feel, by adding photo album corners and using a yellowed background.
